If life came with a rewind button, I know there are things I would change.

Some conversations.
Some decisions.
Some people I gave too much access to.
Some opportunities I didn't recognise.
Some moments where I should have walked away sooner.

But there is no rewind.

There is only the person I am today, carrying everything those experiences taught me.

So I am learning not to romanticise my past, but I am also not going to sit here and insult myself for every wrong turn.

I was figuring things out.

And sometimes you don't know that a road is wrong until you have walked far enough to realise it.

The beautiful part is that you can turn around.

You can apologise.
You can change.
You can choose differently.
You can become wiser without becoming bitter.

Maybe that is what growing up really is.

Not having a perfect history, but becoming someone who no longer needs to repeat it. 🤍
