It’s really disappointing when someone you grew up with and once called a childhood friend and neighbor chooses money over trust and humanity.

For VeryDarkMan, this situation must hurt differently. When someone you have history with demands money before linking victims to you, it can feel like the friendship and trust you shared meant nothing when it mattered most.

There’s nothing wrong with valuing your time or expecting proper arrangements, but when the purpose is to help people who are already victims and in need, demanding payment before making that connection can leave a very bitter feeling.

Sometimes, the greatest disappointment doesn’t come from strangers. It comes from people you never expected to let you down. And when it comes from someone who knows your journey from childhood, the pain can be much deeper.

Money can be made again, but trust once damaged is not always easy to rebuild.
