I just came online now and honestly what I have been seeing here since yesterday is not encouraging, people now make content on health matters they have little or no knowing about.
Yesterday someone posted bitter leaf water as a remedy to some disease, the post was not only totally untrue but also misleading, I condemned it imminently.
Same yesterday someone made a post on Tranexamic Acid on post patum haemorrhage, that conversation was also not in line, as it lacks merit and medical justifications.
This morning I also saw a post about AA not marrying AS because of the love life of their future children. Things like this shouldn't be used for content or engagement purposes because people with little or no understanding of how this works will think what they read from you is the correct thing.
I'm happy someone came up to correct the AA, AS narrative, I went through the comments generated by the post and all i can say is that we have a lot of learning and unlearning to do here.
Thank you my sister @ibukunoladunni for coming up with a professional evidence based side of the story.
We need more people in the medical field who can stand out and speak up when post that contradicts medical knowledge is made here. This is life we are talking about and nobody should use it just for content.
Can anyone who is not a lawyer make content with Law or law related matters? Or is it because it's health and everybody now have a say.
