Part 2

I real!zed I could not continue f!ghting for a marriage that was already destr0ying me.
So I left.
We eventually div0rced.
But there is something that still bothers me till today.
My ex-husband never told his family the full truth about what happened before his brother d!ed.
He never told them that his elder brother had discovered that his wife was chéáting.
He never told them about the mysteri0us foreign number that sent the message asking, **"How are my children?"**
He never told them that his brother was planning to carry out a DNA test.
He never told them that his brother had planned to go to the village and report his wife before he suddenly d!ed.
Everything was bur!ed with him.
Today, my ex-husband and his late brother's wife are still married.
They have even had another child together.
His family is not happy about the marriage or about what happened between us, but they cannot openly challenge him.
Why?
Because he has taken over his late brother's business and has become the person f!nancially supporting many members of the family.
If they challenge him, they are afraid he may withdraw his fínancial support.
So everyone keeps quiet.
And that is what hûrts me the most.
I keep asking myself how people can do certain things and simply move on as if nothing happened.
My ex-husband is living with the woman he married after his brother d!ed.
They have another baby.
The family has accepted their reality.
And as for me, I walked away with nothing but the memories of everything I went through.
Sometimes I sit down and wonder whether I made the right decision by leaving.
Sometimes I wonder whether I should have fought harder for my marriage.
But after everything that happened, I don't know what else I could have done.
The thing that hûrts me most is that, despite everything, there seems to be no cónsequence for what happened.
There is no karma.
They are still together.
They have another child.
They are living their lives.

And I am the one left trying to heal from everything.

Was I wrong to leave my marriage?
