Sometimes life will take you to a place where you have to start all over again.

You may lose a job you thought would last. You may watch a relationship you valued fall apart. You may make decisions you regret. You may have dreams that refuse to happen no matter how hard you try. And there may be moments when you look at your life and ask yourself, “How did I get here?”

But starting over is not the end of your life.

Sometimes, starting over is the beginning of the life you were supposed to live.

Do not allow one bad season to make you believe that every season will be bad. Do not allow one betrayal to make you believe that nobody can be trusted. Do not allow one failure to make you believe that you are a failure.

You made mistakes? Learn from them.

You lost something? Give yourself time to heal.

You failed at something? Try again with the lessons you have learned.

You were rejected? Remember that rejection does not mean you have no value.

Life will sometimes force you to release things you desperately wanted to keep. It can be painful because we often believe that what we lose is the only thing that could make us happy. But sometimes, what we are holding onto is exactly what is preventing us from moving forward.

There will be days when you have to encourage yourself because nobody will understand what you are going through. There will be nights when you quietly cry and wonder when your own time will come.

Keep going.

You don't need to have everything figured out today. You only need to take the next step.

If all you can do today is survive, then survive. Tomorrow, try again.

Your life does not have to look perfect before it becomes meaningful. You can build something beautiful from broken pieces. You can turn your pain into wisdom. You can turn your experience into strength. You can become someone your younger self would be proud of.

So, if life has brought you back to the beginning, don't be afraid.

Start again.

Start with whatever you have.

Start slowly.

Start imperfectly.

Just start.

One day, you will look back and realize that the moment you thought your life was falling apart was actually the moment you began rebuilding it.

Never be afraid of a new beginning. Sometimes, the best chapters of your life begin after the chapter you never wanted to end.
