THE MYSTERY OF DESTINY

Listen.
There’s something written about your life.
Before you were born, God already knew you.
Before you had a name, He already had an assignment for you.
Before time even started, Heaven had a purpose for your existence.
Destiny is not just where you end up.
It’s what God intended your life to accomplish.
Jeremiah 1:5 says:
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…”
Psalm 139:16 says your days were already written in His book.
Your life is not an accident.

—Destiny is a mystery
God doesn’t show you everything at once.
Joseph had a dream… but he didn’t understand the long road that came with it.
David was anointed king… but he didn’t sit on the throne immediately.
Esther was born for a moment she didn’t even know was coming.
You might look at your life right now and ask,
“God, what are You doing with me?”
Don’t judge your destiny by your current location.
Joseph was in a pit — that wasn’t his destiny.
He was in prison — that wasn’t his destiny either.
He became prime minister because what was written about him was bigger than where he was.

—Destiny can be delayed
Delay is not denial.
Joseph received the dream as a young man, but it took years to come to pass.
Habakkuk 2:3 says the vision is for an appointed time.
Even if it delays… wait for it. It will come.
There’s a season and a time for every purpose under heaven.
Just because you haven’t seen it yet doesn’t mean God didn’t say it.
Don’t quit on what He told you.

—Destiny can come under attack
Jesus said the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy.
If the enemy couldn’t stop your birth, he’ll try to stop your purpose.
That’s why Pharaoh ordered the death of Hebrew baby boys — a deliverer was coming.
That’s why Herod tried to kill the children in Bethlehem — a King had been born.
Some of the battles you’re fighting are connected to the weight of what you’re carrying.
But don’t get obsessed with the devil.
Your confidence is not in knowing what the enemy is doing.
Your confidence is in knowing what God is doing.

There’s something written about you.
And what God has written… He will perform.
Amen!
