STOP! Read this slowly: YOU are loved by God—more deeply than you can ever imagine. Not because you are perfect. Not because you deserve it. But because God is love. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8. Think about it: we were not looking for God, yet God came looking for us. When I was weak, He remained faithful. When I wandered, He called me back. When I fell, His mercy lifted me. “We love him, because he first loved us.” — 1 John 4:19. Here is the wonder: God’s love is free to receive, but it cost Jesus everything. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…” — John 3:16.
So don't take His love for granted. Receive it. Live it. Share it. You are deeply loved. His mercy is still reaching for you. His arms are still open.
