An argument has been going on about menstrual products, and honestly, some of the comments have been hilarious! 😂

Some people said they would switch to menstrual cups, others said they prefer tampons, pads, period underwear, or even go back to the “olden days” when our mothers used pieces of cloth.

Then I saw someone ask, “Won’t the menstrual cup break her virginity?” 😭😂

Another person said they would NEVER use a menstrual cup because it would “widen the place” yes, they meant the vagina! 😂

But let’s clear up some facts. 👇

A menstrual cup does NOT permanently widen the vagina. The vagina is an elastic muscular canal that naturally stretches and returns to its usual shape. Using a tampon or menstrual cup does not make it permanently loose.

Also, virginity is not something that can be medically determined simply by looking at the hymen. The hymen varies naturally from person to person, and it can stretch or change for many reasons.

Menstrual cups, tampons, and pads all have their advantages and disadvantages. What matters is choosing a menstrual product that is comfortable, safe, and suitable for you, and using it correctly.
