YOU CAN EASILY MISJUDGE SOMEONE WHEN YOU ONLY KNOW ONE SIDE OF THEIR STORY.

You see someone keeping their distance and call them proud.

You see someone saying no and call them difficult.

You see someone leaving a relationship and assume they gave up too easily.

You see someone struggling financially and assume they're irresponsible.

You see someone succeeding and assume life has always been easy for them.

But you weren't there for the conversations they had, the decisions they made, the problems they faced, or the things they chose not to tell you.

What you know may be true but it may not be the whole truth.

Before forming a strong opinion about someone's situation, ask yourself:

“Do I actually know enough to judge this fairly?”

That one question can save you from making a very confident judgment about a story you only saw from the outside.

Sometimes we only know one side. What do you think people should remember before judging others?
