My dear friend, this is not a message for someone else. It is for me. It is for you. “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” — Ezekiel 18:20 Sin is not merely a mistake—it is a matter of the soul. I may hide my sin from people, but I cannot hide it from God. I may smile outside while my heart is struggling within. I may excuse it, minimise it, or say, “God understands.” Yes, God understands—but God also calls me to repent.
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.” — Acts 3:19 My soul is too precious to gamble with sin. Sin may entertain me for a moment, but it cannot save me in eternity. The good news is that my story does not have to end in sin. Jesus is calling me back. There is mercy. There is forgiveness. There is a way back home.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.” — 1 John 1:9 So, let me ask myself honestly: What sin am I tolerating that is slowly destroying my soul? Today, I must not merely feel sorry—I must turn around. Turn from sin. Turn to Christ. Choose life. “Choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.” — Deuteronomy 30:19
My soul matters. Your soul matters. Eternity matters.
