So here’s what’s eating at me🤦🏽..
I believe genuine love and remorse doesn’t wait for divorce papers to show up. It shows up when nothing’s at stake.
So is this remorse, or leverage❓
But I also know life isn’t a formula. People do change…🤷🏻‍♂️
Fear actually humbles people…🤷🏻‍♂️

So isn’t Chidi being emotionally blackmailed by Amara in this story❓
The man who met her at her lowest and invested in her patiently, and consistently🤷🏻‍♂️❓
If she goes back to her husband now, doesn’t that quietly teach Chidi, and everyone involved, that HE WAS JUST USED & DUMPED 🤷🏻‍♂️❓

And even then, it’s not that simple🤷🏻‍♂️? ..
Because would any woman really walk away from a truly perfect marriage? 🤷🏻‍♂️..
Chidi has his own divorce story too.
What if God is trying to save Amara from a second mistake❓
What if the devil she knows is safer than the angel she thinks she’s found❓
What if going to Chidi is just trading a frying pan for a fire❓

Or is it Amara that is being grief tripped or is guilt tripped and pulled backwards into her doom❓
But what about her children, and everything she poured into that first marriage, especially now that the man is on his knees asking for forgiveness❓
Should she just walk away from everything because of uncertainty 🤷🏻‍♂️❓
Isn’t life full of uncertainties 🤷🏻‍♂️❓

So I’m asking you directly: WHO IS THE ONE BEING EMOTIONALLY BLACKMAILED HERE❓

So here’s what’s eating at me🤦🏽..
I believe genuine love and remorse doesn’t wait for divorce pape...

Blessing Ojoma Onakpa: Honestly, I think the difficult part is that we may be looking at the situation from Chidi’s pain instead of Amara’s actual choice.

Someone asking for forgiveness does not automatically mean the relationship has become healthy again. At the same time, Chidi loving and supporting Amara does not auto...
