As you start your day remember that “our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed” (Romans 13:11). Salvation is not merely something we received in the past; we are moving toward its glorious completion when Christ returns. Every sunrise brings us one day closer to eternity. This truth should influence how we live today. Do not waste your precious time pursuing things that cannot accompany you beyond this life. Invest your strength in knowing God, serving others, sharing the gospel, and growing in holiness. The world may promise temporary satisfaction, but our eternal hope is in Christ. Let the nearness of salvation encourage you when life becomes difficult. Your labour for the Lord is not in vain. Keep trusting, keep serving, and keep looking forward to the day when faith becomes sight.
