WHAT IF THE PEACE WE ARE PRAYING FOR… IS THE PEACE WE HAVE FAILED TO TEACH?

Today, as the world marks International Day of Peace, we are reminded of something important:

Peace does not begin in government offices.
Peace begins in hearts.
And hearts are shaped by values.

We cannot keep asking for a peaceful society while neglecting the values that produce peaceful people.

When we teach a child respect, we are investing in peace.
When we teach honesty, we are investing in peace.
When we model self-control, we are investing in peace.
When we teach children to resolve disagreements without violence, we are investing in peace.
When we raise young people who understand responsibility, empathy and the consequences of their choices, we are investing in the future.

Because tomorrow’s peaceful society is being shaped by what we teach, model and tolerate today.

And this is why value reorientation matters.

🌱 If we want peace in our homes, communities and nation, we must invest in the hearts of the people who will build tomorrow.

Let us not only pray for peace.
Let us teach it.
Let us model it.
Let us live it.

This International Peace Day, let’s make a commitment:

🕊️ Invest in Peace.
Invest in Values.
Invest in the Next Generation.
