Ordinarily this should be one of the effective ways of sifting and ridding our society of criminals and potential criminals.

The reality however is that these raids have been commercialised such that with the right price even the targets can and will escape scrutiny let alone justice.

And worse perfectly innocent ones among them will also have to be 'bailed' out of detention!

I've read of innocent people who were picked and detained without any investigation but bailed with money by their family members or friends before they could regain freedom.
