As at 1997 when Princess Diana was killed in a road crash in France Kemi Badenoch was just a 17-year-old girl completing her A'Levels at Phoenix College UK having returned from Nigeria only a year earlier. And was definitely not anywhere close enough to Buckingham Palace to hear let alone understand royal intrigues.

So how can she pretend to know what played out in the inner recesses of Buckingham Palace as to be able to take a stand on the exchanges between then Prince Charles and his grieving brother in-law?
