Trump posted on Truth Social that the U.S. has a deal with Denmark and Greenland giving America “permanent control over security, and all other needs” in Greenland. He called it an “Infinite Life” agreement: no expiration, expanded U.S. military presence, overflight and basing rights, and a ban on China or Russia putting bases, troops, or sensitive investments there without U.S. written approval. He also said there would be no cost to the United States.

Denmark and Greenland have confirmed a pact is expected to be signed next week at the UN General Assembly.
