There's this sisterly advice I want to give this morning: please, DO NOT FIGHT ANY POLITICIAN'S FIGHT FOR THEM OHH 😲
LEMME GIST YOU GUYS… So very recently, I had this long conversation with someone very, very close to me who's in politics, about his last campaign and primaries race. And Chai‼️, the story humbled me.
It started small - his younger cousin refused to help paste and share his campaign fliers. Turns out the cousin had been approached by the OPPONENT with money wey I no even wan mention for this page.., And it was confirmed that that is the money range wey dem dey give people wey dey epp them to share flier- logistics fee. My mouth just open 😳
But that wasn't even the real shocker.
His OWN SISTER - someone very close to him- was dancing and jumping for his OPPONENT throughout the campaign, proper... 😳
She was FRONT ROW, FULL-BLOWN CAMPAIGN MANAGER for the other side.
His own team was shocked& Confused. Some were even offended on his behalf😂😂.
But na im come later say she'd come to him privately, and said something that stuck with me long after the conversation ended:
"Bro, you know this is not a betrayal. I just have to align with the reality on ground. Politics is not just about the person or his ideas and plans - it's also about the political structure in place. It's that structure that gives your political drive a voice and action."
Guys, the way this thing shocked the guy in this photo… na so e shock me too. 😳
Make I kwantinu the koko of this gist for part 2 👇

Failure to do so makes you complicit in resultant incompetent and corr...
