Even the President has refused to visit this particular place because of the bad roads.

I was heading to Yelewata, Benue State, when I encountered heavy traffic. I was told that youths had blocked the road because they did not want me to come.

Someone who is not courageous or is weak would not come down from his vehicle, but I came down before they started throwing stones and bottles.

For the safety of my people, I had to tell everyone to move back.

Even the most courageous animal, when it sees danger, steps back in order to return and deal with the situation. I will be in Yelewata again very soon.”
