I want to share a little experience of what happened this evening.
As I closed from work and was heading towards Apple Bridge, I got to H Medis when the rain started falling heavily. So, some of us decided to take shelter at the place where they sell fruits. There were about 7–8 of us standing there, waiting for the rain to stop.
While we were there, I noticed a gentleman who had stepped outside and was standing by the main road. There was a car parked in front of the supermarket, and I noticed him talking to the driver. Shortly after, I saw him hand his phone to the driver. Immediately, the driver zoomed off with his phone.
The gentleman quickly ran back, shouting that his phone had been stolen.

Charles: The bigger lesson from what i witnessed is: being helpful is good, but we should also be security-conscious. A simple request to “make a call” can sometimes be used as an opportunity to steal a phone.
Charles: What I would advise everyone
Never hand your phone to a stranger inside a car, especially on the roadside.
If someone says they need to make an urgent call, offer to dial the number yourself and put the call on speaker rather than handing over the phone.
If they claim someone is inside a nearby shop...
