The core problem with many Nigerian politicians is their detachment from the everyday realities faced by ordinary citizens. They operate from a different social class, insulated by privilege and comfort, which shapes their perception of the country in ways that are far removed from the lived experiences of the people. As a result, they often view Nigeria’s challenges through a lens that does not reflect the true struggles, needs, or aspirations of the population.
