๐Ÿ’ผ Dangote Refinery launches Africa's biggest IPO

Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals FZE has opened its Initial Public Offering on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) in Lagos, in what is set to be Africa's largest IPO.

The offer targets 4.1 billion shares priced at โ‚ฆ525 per unit, aiming to raise $1.6 billion. The sale runs through 13 October, with listing scheduled for November. The IPO has already triggered a digital race among Nigerian stockbrokers, banks and fintechs competing to onboard up to 10 million retail investors.

The offering marks the first time the public can own a stake in Africa's largest refinery, a facility widely regarded as one of the world's most significant industrial projects.
