MEN ARE NOT AVOIDING MARRIAGE, THEY ARE AVOIDING DIVORCE.
Let’s be honest: many men still want marriage. They want companionship, family, peace, loyalty, and someone to build a life with.
But some men are becoming more cautious because they have seen marriages turn into bitter battles, painful divorces, financial struggles, custody disputes, and years of emotional stress.
So when a man says, “I’m not ready for marriage,” it may not always mean he doesn’t believe in marriage.
Sometimes, it means:
“I’m afraid of choosing the wrong person.”
And that fear is understandable.
But women have their own fears too. Some women are afraid of entering marriages where they will experience neglect, emotional abuse, infidelity, financial irresponsibility, or carry the entire burden of the home alone.
So perhaps the real problem isn't that men don't want marriage or women don't want marriage.
Maybe people are becoming more afraid of bad marriages.
Marriage is not supposed to be a trap for either gender. It should be a partnership where two mature people choose each other, communicate honestly, take responsibility, and work together.
The goal shouldn't simply be to get married.
The goal should be to build a marriage worth staying in.
What do you think: Are men avoiding marriage, or are they simply becoming more careful about who they marry? 👀
