Some women aren't single because they have too few options. They're single because they overestimate the options they have.

Dating apps, social media attention, DMs, likes, compliments, and men willing to pursue them can create the illusion of abundance.

But attention is not commitment.
Attraction is not compatibility.
A sexual option is not a relationship option.
And being desired by many men does not mean you have many men capable of building a life with you.

The danger is confusing access with value.

A woman may have hundreds of men willing to approach her while having very few men she genuinely respects, trusts, desires, and can build with.

Then years pass, the standards remain calibrated to an imaginary abundance, and every imperfect but potentially good partner is rejected because somewhere in the mind is the belief:

“There will always be someone better.”

Sometimes there isn't.

Sometimes the abundance was never real.

It was only attention wearing the costume of options.
