THE DANGER OF THINKING WE’RE ALWAYS THE GOOD PERSON
Isn’t it crazy how easily we convince ourselves that we are good people?
We remember the times we helped someone, showed kindness, forgave others, or stood up for what was right. But how often do we remember the times we hurt someone, judged unfairly, lied, betrayed trust, or refused to admit we were wrong?
Being a good person doesn't mean you never make mistakes. It means you have enough self-awareness and humility to recognize them.
Sometimes, we are the villain in someone else's story and don't even realize it.
The real test of character isn't how good we think we are.
It's how honestly we examine ourselves when nobody is applauding us.
Before you call yourself a good person, ask yourself:
“Who have I hurt? Who have I wronged? And have I ever sincerely apologized?”
Self-reflection is uncomfortable, but it can make us better people. 🧠❤️
Do you think most people genuinely reflect on their own mistakes, or are we naturally better at seeing the faults of others? 👇🔥
