I understand the public scrutiny Peter Obi has faced over the past few days regarding the expensive handbag his wife was seen carrying. This is because he has projected himself as a modest individual who does not spend lavishly on fashion. At one point, he said that he owned only one wristwatch, which he had worn for 17 years, and that he wore only black shoes, of which he had just two pairs. I personally find this puzzling and believe it should be scrutinized.

However, his wife is not him, and she can choose to dress elegantly or use luxury items as long as she can afford them with their personal money. We all know that they have the means to afford such things.
