YOU SEE, EVERYONE CLAIMS TO LOVE THE TRUTH…UNTIL THE TRUTH DESCRIBES THEM.

You call a poor man “poor,” and it becomes an insult, not because it’s a lie, but because we have taught ourselves that poverty is something to be ashamed of, rather than something to step out of.

You call a short man “short,” and he feels insulted because society has attached shame to stature.

You call someone “fat” or “thin,” and they say it’s body shaming, even when it’s just an honest description, not a judgment.

You call a foolish act “stupid,” and they say you are being rude or mean.

So, what does society expect from you?

Lie.
Filter.
Sugarcoat.
Speak the truth, but only the kind that doesn’t hurt feelings and slapp our ego.

We now live in a world where truth is hated, and lies are rewarded with applause. We want honesty, but only if it flatters and excites us.

But here’s the hard truth:
People only get offended by accurate descriptions when they have already accepted that something is wrong with them.

A poor man gets angry because he believes his poverty makes him worthless.

A short woman flinches because she believes her height makes her undesirable.

A fat or skinny person feels insulted because they have internalized and agreed to someone else’s standard of beauty.

The problem is not what they are called,
The problem is what they believe it means to be called that.

We have created a culture where self-worth is tied to denial and appearance, not to acceptance and self-respect. We have taught people to feel broken for simply being different.

But why?

Who defined beauty?
Who made wealth the only evidence of worth?
Who said you must lie to be kind?

This is why I say - truth, in its raw form, is not hate.
It’s not shaming.
It’s not rac!sm.
It’s just truth. Maybe, this is why KaaTruths Podcast stands out. Maybe this is why I’m so annoying.

Being black is not an insult.
Being poor is not a curse.
Being short, fat, slim, dark, or light is not shameful.

Lies may feel good, but they don’t heal, they don’t bring confidence.
Only the truth has the power to free us.

So if the truth offends you, don’t fight the truth,
Fix the lie you have believed about yourself.

Freeman: If your version of “truth” always leaves people humiliated, perhaps the problem isn't their sensitivity. Maybe it's your intention.
Freeman: Truth needs courage, but it also needs wisdom. Anybody can say something brutally; it takes maturity to tell the truth in a way that challenges people without deliberately humiliating them
Comfort Yako Asala: People often react defensively not just to the word itself, but to the perceived cruelty behind the delivery.
Comfort Yako Asala: Well said ✨
kemachiedo nichol;as: The truth is like the day light you cannot deny it.
CSO intl: Not every accurate description needs to be said, and not every uncomfortable truth is helpful when delivered without compassion. There is a difference between telling the truth and using “truth” as an excuse to hurt people.
BAExo: This is a real truth
Esco Bar: Honestly, that’s the real test! It’s easy to accept the truth when it’s about someone else, but when the mirror turns on you, ehn… that’s when things get interesting.
Nwaogu Alexander Chinemerem: Reading this brought chills to my veins 🥺😩
Rohan Vihaan: Truth should set people free, not become an excuse for disrespect. Sometimes the hardest truth is knowing when to speak and when to keep quiet. 🔥
