I don't really know how my story correlates to the message but I'm led to share with someone who needs to hear it.

The Story:

On occasions, I have rejected the offer of a man in my work place, who speaks so much of himself. I realised he does that to get attention and earn respect from people.

He knew I haven't really been paying obeisance as others do. I cared less about his lengthy talks about himself and he knew this. Mind you, I respect him as my elder and greet him always.

So he wanted to get my attention that one day, when I met him in a shop, he offered to make payment for the snacks I was buying, but I thanked and turned him down. I payed for the snacks and left.

The following day, I needed to get access to our admin block where I normally use as my workspace, because he has the key, he taunted me and was so loud about how he offered to pay for my stuff the other day but I rejected him and now I am expecting him 'that I reject' to give me access. 😂

It was so funny, but I had to wave it off with instant silence and turned doing something else. Suddenly, he gave me the key, saying before I see him as a bad person. (We listen, we don't judge 😂).

Today, he called me to do something for him, I did and later he offered to give me money, persuading me to collect it, saying he gave others (Corpers). I refused to collect the gift but an elderly woman I respect forced me to collect it before I did...

Enough of the story. Now...

The Message:

You don't have to do life alone.
There are people God have placed in your path who'll be selfless in their dealings with you.

We all need men in your lives who'll help us with no strings attached. It is called the "gift of men".

The gift of men is a blessing. It's not humanly orchestrated - it is divine.

May God direct your footsteps to men who'll be willing to help you without exploiting you in Jesus name. Amen 🙌🏽

When you have the opportunity, be willing to help others too without exploiting them.

God is ordering your footsteps. Let Him take the lead as you diligently follow.
