According to the Nigerian news outlet The Cable, Kano State Governor Uba Sani says he will ask the National Economic Council (NEC) to endorse government support for vehicles produced by Dangote Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Limited.
“I will make a strong presentation at the National Economic Council, urging both the federal and state governments to patronize the products of this company because that is the only way they can survive,” the governor said.
The Kaduna State Government owns an 11.7% stake in Dangote Peugeot Automobiles Nigeria Limited.
