WHAT IF YOUR CHILD WAS THE ONE LAUGHING?

Yesterday, I asked you what you would do if this were your child being mocked.

But today, let’s turn the picture around.

What if your child was one of the children doing the laughing?

Would your response be different?

Would you say:

“That’s just children being children.”

Or:

“At least my child didn’t hit anybody.”

Or would you stop and ask:

“What made my child think it was okay to humiliate another person?”

Being in a group does not excuse bad behaviour.

Everyone laughing does not make something right.

And most importantly:

“What would you do if that were you?”

That one question can begin developing empathy.

Parents, let’s be honest:

👇 If your child was caught bullying or mocking another child, would you discipline the behaviour, investigate why it happened, or both?

And another question:

Do you think some children are behaving badly because they don’t know better—or because they know better but have not been taught to value doing what is right?

Let’s talk in the comments.

Tomorrow, Part 3 will ask the question we don’t always want to answer:

“Where did our children learn these behaviours
