Small, small, the words they speak will eventually lead more and more people back to their roots and reconnect them with their ancestors. Let them continue preaching and defending the heritage of their Arab ancestors; we are watching, listening, and taking note.

You cannot spend your time telling people to abandon or despise their own ancestral heritage while proudly defending another people’s history and ancestry. Eventually, people will begin asking questions, searching for their roots, and reclaiming what belongs to them.

And when that day comes, remember the name “Elebo” they once used against others. The same label may come to represent a journey back to African roots for everyone, including those who used it as an insult.

History has a way of bringing people full circle. We are watching.
