EFCC Extradites 2 Nigerians to US Over Sextortion That Led to Death of 2 US Teenagers

The EFCC has handed over Mudashiru Afeez Olawale and Adebola Festus Adekunle to the FBI for prosecution.

The FBI linked them to Instagram sextortion rings targeting boys 13-17 — victims were blackmailed after sharing nudes and forced to pay via gift cards & crypto. Two victims died by suicide, one was just 13.

Olawale now faces 7 counts in the US including sexual exploitation resulting in death and distribution of CSAM.
