THE ROOT OF EVERLASTING HAPPINESS

Hello family, I hope our day is going well. Today's message is a simple reflection, meant to encourage us to spread more kindness so we can all walk through life truly fulfilled.

Let me begin with a question. What is our real goal in this life? As I understand it, and I believe you will agree with me, the goal of every single one of us is simply to find happiness in whatever we do.

But how do some of us go about pursuing it? Some chase it through buying, cars, houses, clothes, the latest phone, the newest trend. Others chase it through status, or through achievement, always hoping that the next thing will finally be the one that satisfies. But it never quite is, because those things were only ever meant to enhance happiness, not to be its true source. So where does happiness actually come from?

The truth is, this question does not have just one answer, because happiness itself does not flow from a single direction. But there is one thing no human being on the surface of this earth can honestly deny: lasting happiness comes from what we do for other people, and from what other people, in turn, do for us.

So my message to us today is simple: if you really want to be happy, do unto others what you would want them to do unto you. A small gift of five hundred naira handed to a stranger will not only brighten their day, it will quietly brighten yours too. Lasting happiness rarely comes from what you do for yourself. It comes from what you choose to do for others.

Let us continue this conversation in the comments, I would love to hear your thoughts whenever you have a moment to share.
