Are we spending too much money looking successful instead of quietly becoming financially secure?

The newest phone.
The car upgrade.
The clothes.
The parties.
The pressure to “show up” a certain way.

Meanwhile, savings may be empty, debt is growing, and one unexpected expense can create a crisis.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying the fruits of your labor.

But as I get older, I’m realizing that looking wealthy and building wealth are two very different things.

Sometimes the person who appears to have less is actually building more.

No judgment. I’m genuinely curious:
