Do you know that pigs sweat glands are limited and not very effective for cooling.
Because of this, pigs can't sweat enough to stay cool in hot conditions. This is why they wallow in mud or water — the evaporation from wet skin and mud helps dissipate heat.
That's why you must provide a space filled with water for them to wallow or swim in.
