Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma had mocked Davido, telling him to prepare to employ his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, as a dancer after an expected defeat in the August 15, 2026, election. The jab followed Davido's press conference warning an unnamed Imo politician against interfering in the poll.
