CBN Records $52.5bn Reserves as Reforms Strengthen Economy

CBN Governor Olayemi Cardoso says the Central Bank’s monetary and foreign exchange reforms are delivering positive results, with Nigeria’s external reserves rising above $52.5 billion, the highest level in 17 years. According to the CBN, the reforms have restored investor confidence, attracted stronger capital inflows, stabilised the naira, moderated inflation and strengthened the country’s overall macroeconomic stability.
