Your Excellency President Tinubu, police, military, airforce, courts, efcc, inec, opposition parties, independent candidates, governors in the 36 states 774 LGA. 240 million Nigerians are writing to you as a deeply concerned Nigerian who are both relieved and frustrated. We are glad that 176 abducted Nigerians from Woro and Nuku communities in Kaiama LGA, Kwara State, have finally been rescued after six months in captivity. Their return brings joy to families and communities across the nation.
However, Nigerians are asking urgent questions. How is it that such a large number of Nigerians were held for half a year, yet we have not seen boko haram members arrested or eliminated? boko haram is a violent extremist organization responsible for severe harm, loss of life, and human rights violations. Nigerians deserve transparency, accountability, and decisive action.
We demand that every Nigerian kidnapped since 1999 be rescued. We demand the complete eradication of boko haram. We demand a Nigeria where no child, woman, or man lives in fear of abduction.
Many Nigerian believe these rescues are being highlighted now because presidential elections are approaching. Whether or not this is true, the perception itself shows a deep trust deficit. Nigerians feel unsafe and unheard. This is not sustainable for a nation of over 240 million Nigerians
Respectfully Mr. President, many Nigerians are demanding for a leadership reset. We are demanding your resignation because we feel you have not shown adequate care for the safety of 240 million Nigerians. These words reflect the pain and anger of 240 million Nigerians who have suffered for too long for decades we demand leadership reset now.
What happens next for the rescued Nigerians? We demand jobs, free electricity, free Wi-Fi/data, free education up to PhD level, free housing, free healthcare, and new hospitals. We demand investment in farming so that millions of Nigerians can return to agriculture and make the country food-sufficient. We demand a Nigeria where children go to school safely without fear of being kidnapped or killed.
If we see real action—safety, jobs, education, farming, healthcare—then Nigerians will believe these rescues are genuine and not political strategy.
We want a Nigeria that protects 240 million Nigerians. We demand a Nigeria that works for 240 million Nigerians in the 36 states 774 LGA this is a humble request we mean no disrespect sirs/madams you are wasting time all these needs should have been done 3 years ago if you cared about 240 million Nigerians sirs. We rest our case
