I believe Tinubu attended primary and secondary school, but under his original name, Yekini. His current name is allegedly borrowed, from the school records of the late “miss Bola Tinubu” However, he has been unable to provide complete details of the elementary education of his borrowed name. Combined with the long‑standing allegations surrounding his past, including drug‑related issues, many Nigerians feel he is not a man of straightforward character. The phrase “grab, snatch, and run” speaks volumes about the concerns surrounding his integrity.
Let him disclose his original name and explain how he came about the identity he used to travel to Chicago. Only then can the matter be properly resolved or finally laid to rest. Otherwise, INEC must not allow itself to be influenced this time; it should uphold its duty and do the right thing.
