Moghalu: National Policing Bill Undergoing Most Open Process in Legislative History
A lot of the criticism of the State Police Bill so far has been about process, not content. That means the substance of the reforms has largely gone unchallenged. The concerns raised have been procedural. We acknowledge them and are drawing lessons from how previous constitutional amendment processes were managed. This is a new process, and we are determined to make it more consultative and inclusive than previous efforts.
