WAEC Announces 2026 WASSCE Results as 61.54% Earn Five Credits.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the 2026 WASSCE results for school candidates. According to WAEC, 61.54% of candidates obtained at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, meeting the minimum requirement for admission into higher institutions. Out of 1,950,726 candidates who sat for the examination, 1,200,514 met the benchmark. WAEC noted that the examinations were conducted between April 24 and June 19, 2026.
