My advise to clients on credit transactions.
1. Never sell on credit.

2. If you must sell on credit, agree on the maximum credit that can be extended and the number of days credit given will be due for payment.

3. Consider increasing sales value for credit sales to consider TVM.

4. Use software that enables you to state the terms of transactions and shows invoices due for payment.
