The Most Expensive Sentence in Nigeria Is... "I'll Do It Later."
Not "I don't have money."
Not "Things are hard."
But...
"I'll do it later."
"I'll start saving when my salary increases."
"I'll think about insurance next year."
"I'll start investing when I have more money."
"I'll plan for my children's education when they get older."
The truth is, later has a way of becoming too late.
Every year we postpone important financial decisions, life keeps moving.
School fees increase.
The cost of living rises.
Medical expenses become more expensive.
Retirement gets closer.
Unexpected emergencies don't wait until we're "ready."
The good news?
You don't have to start big.
You simply have to start.
A small amount saved consistently is better than waiting for the "perfect time" that may never come.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is this:
Your future doesn't change because you have good intentions. It changes because you take action.
So let me ask you...
What's one financial decision you've been putting off that you know you should start today?
I'd love to read your thoughts in the comments.
