Every girl deserves the right to grow up free from harmful practices.

Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) remains a reality for thousands of girls and women across Nigeria. While progress has been made, the work is far from over.

At the Centre for Family Health Initiative (CFHI), we are proud to launch PROTECT HER under the Renewed Women's Voice and Leadership (RWVL) initiative. Through this project, we will work with women, girls, young people, communities, and stakeholders in Imo State to promote sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), challenge harmful social norms, prevent gender-based violence, and strengthen community accountability.

Together, we can create communities where every woman and girl is safe, respected, and empowered.

We acknowledge the support of the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada and ActionAid Nigeria for making this work possible.
