POWER OF NUMBERS

Acts 18:8-10 KJV
[8] And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized. [9] Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

If people can see beyond their nose to understand the value and benefit of God's instructions to us, they will never go against whatever God says. Many people always feel that the instructions will either slow them down or deny them the opportunity to get their desires fulfilled. This mindset is actually orchestrated by the devil to make you go against the same thing that is a solution to your life.
God spoke to Paul in the text that he should not be afraid to speak the truth to the people because He has many people in the city that will defend and protect him should they rise up against him. This shows that besides supernatural means, God can rely on people and especially numbers to save or defend His people against worldly men. There is power in numbers. You are part of the number that God raises to stop the aggression of the devil towards His church. What are you using your number in the kingdom for? Moreso, the more you are able to win souls and talk people out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God, the more it is for you to enjoy support when the world comes against you. Your lack of seriousness towards winning souls will literally affect you the day you need support. This is why you should understand that the instruction of God for you to win souls is not just for the benefit of the kingdom of God but for you to have likeminded men who will stand for you on the day you need help.
If the multitude that Jesus ministered unto were available on the day a voice vote was needed to decide whether He should be crucified or not, the decision would have gone His way.
Matthew 27:22-23 KJV
Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. [23] And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
But on such a day, the majority who are the opposition carried the day. There are many people that are suffering today because they have no man in the right place that
would have helped them. They did not reach out to those in authority that would have been useful to them. Every armed robbery incident or banditry issues happened because those guys were not reached with the gospel of life and salvation, therefore they become a tormentor to the society. Learn to obey the word of God and you will realize that it will end up benefitting you seriously.

1. Lord, I receive grace to be obedient to Your words.
2. Lord, I receive grace to understand the benefit of obedience.
