Five ISWAP Bomb Experts K!11£d in Premature IED Explosion in Borno

Five suspected ISWAP t£rr0r!sts including an alleged medical officer and four IED specialists were k!11£d in a premature explosion while assembling explosives in Marte LGA, Borno State.

The incident occurred at Maina Daya Village , about 29 kilometres east of Monguno.

K!11£D IN THE BLAST:

🛑 Usman Dan Fulani (ISWAP medical officer).

🛑 Two foreign Arab IED technicians.

🛑 Two ISWAP bomb‑making experts.

The t£rr0r!sts were preparing IEDs for deployment, likely targeting key military supply routes in the Sector 1 area of Operation HADIN KAI.

The loss of experienced bomb‑makers is a significant setback for ISWAP's IED network and could temporarily weaken the group's ability to carry out roadside bomb attacks in the Marte‑Monguno axis.

Troops have been directed to intensify patrols, cordon‑and‑search operations, and precision offensive actions to prevent regrouping.
