Your Excellency President Tinubu, Governor Umar Namadi, Governors of the 36 States and Chairmen of the 774 Local Government Areas, 240 million Nigerians write to you to express a clear and unified position shared by many Nigerians across all regions: we firmly reject the current model of palliatives being distributed, including food items such as akara and corn. These measures do not address the root causes of hunger, poverty, and economic hardship affecting over 240 million Nigerians in the 36 states 774 LGA

We respectfully demand a shift toward sustainable, long-term solutions that will secure Nigeria’s future:

Invest in Farming and Agriculture: Nigeria must become food‑sufficient. Every state and every LGA should prioritize large‑scale farming, irrigation, mechanization, and support for local farmers. This is the only path to ending hunger permanently.

Free Electricity and Free WiFi/Data Nationwide: For Nigeria to grow, innovate, and compete globally, citizens must have access to reliable electricity and affordable digital connectivity. These are foundational tools for education, business, and national development.

Eliminate Terrorism Completely: We demand the Federal Government to stop all ransom payments and negotiations with terrorists. Nigeria needs decisive action to secure all communities and restore peace.

Free Education Up to PhD Level: Education is the backbone of national progress. Every Nigerian deserves access to quality learning without financial barriers.

Free Housing, New Hospitals, and Free Healthcare: Every state and LGA should invest in modern healthcare facilities, housing projects, and accessible medical services for all citizens.

Respectfully to President Tinubu, Governors in the 36 states 774 LGA 240 million Nigerians reject palliatives invest in farming/agriculture stop wasting time sirs with all due respect. While we acknowledge Governor Umar Namadi’s recent announcement to expand the Danmodi Palliative Shops (Kantin Sauki) to all residents of Jigawa State, we emphasize that subsidised food shops alone cannot solve Nigeria’s food crisis. We demand structural investment in agriculture across all 36 states and 774 LGAs now 8/4/2026 not in 2027 this is a humble request

Nigeria’s future depends on bold, transformative action—not temporary relief. We demand all leaders to prioritize policies that empower 240 million Nigerians, strengthen the economy, and ensure long‑term stability.
