🏆 Four NPFL Clubs to Receive ₦136m CAF Solidarity Payments

Four Nigerian clubs — including Rangers International and Shooting Stars — are set to receive solidarity payments from CAF ahead of the 2026/27 season, following a new rule introduced by the continental body.

CAF confirmed the policy, which allocates funds to clubs eliminated in the preliminary rounds of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup. The total influx for the four NPFL sides is reported at ₦136 million.

The initiative is designed to provide financial support to clubs exiting early in CAF inter-club competitions, offering a boost to Nigerian football's domestic structure.
