FG begins training of 4,000 tractor operators, mechanics to boost food security
The National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF) has launched the National Agricultural Mechanisation Service Providers Training Programme for 4,000 participants as part of efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s agricultural mechanisation drive and boost food security.
The 10-day programme, inaugurated on Monday at the CSS Farms training complex in Gora, Nasarawa state, is being implemented in partnership with AGCOMS, John Deere’s representative in Nigeria, the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (FMAFS).
