WHAT HAS BECOME OF MY COUNTRY?

It is deeply unfortunate that in today's Nigeria, speaking the truth is often interpreted as being an enemy of the government or a member of the opposition. Is this the country our forefathers fought and sacrificed their lives to build?

A government that came into office with the promise of Renewed Hope should welcome constructive criticism, not resist it. Honest feedback is not an attack on government; it is an opportunity to improve policies and better serve the people. The question many Nigerians now ask is: are we witnessing renewed hope or renewed hopelessness?

Across the country, many citizens continue to struggle with hunger, insecurity, unemployment, poor healthcare, weak educational systems, and inadequate infrastructure. If people cannot consistently access basic needs such as food, shelter, healthcare, education, and security, then government must honestly assess whether its policies are achieving their intended goals.

Economic progress should not exist only in reports or official statements; it should be reflected in the daily lives of ordinary Nigerians. When millions continue to complain about the rising cost of living, those concerns deserve attention, not dismissal.

Nigeria is richly blessed with both natural and human resources. Our challenge has never been a lack of potential, but how those resources are managed. The government must remain committed to implementing policies that improve lives, protect citizens, and strengthen public institutions.

As 2027 approaches, Nigerians have another opportunity to shape the country's future. Let your vote be guided by competence, integrity, and a genuine commitment to public service not by temporary gifts or campaign promises.
The future of Nigeria depends on the choices we make today.
