When I listened to the keynote speaker PLO Lumumba who asked Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the executive Governor of Delta state some questions that can not be answered by the Governor.

He said, wisdom only demand one thing in is conclusion; This is how I conclude, I conclude by congratulating the Government of Delta State, but!

1. How are you using your young population who are graduating from the universities?
2. What skills are they receiving?
3. I’m asking how are you using your academics from the universities?
4. What is the budget that you have set apart for research and development so that your academics are not only individuals who preside over graduation ceremonies but they are producing thoughts and they are engaging in research which is informing agriculture and which is informing energy and which is informing all the critical areas on Development?

Mr. Tony Elumelu mentioned from experience and said; you can talk development all you want but if you don’t have energy, you are going nowhere because how are you going to compete with the rapid development across sectors and industries.

Note: Before you come here and defend the Delta State government, please answer the questions above. 👆🏿

I was informed of The Delta Investment Summit organized by the Delta State Government, but I didn’t bother to attend because I know we have a Government that don’t have the capacity to develop the state, no one can give what he/she doesn’t have.
